The Elmwood Village Association will hold the Third Annual Easter Bonnet Parade. Parade-goers design their own creative headgear, and take part in a walk through the heart of the Elmwood Village. The Easter Bonnet Parade has fast become a neighborhood tradition, with creativity and family-fun taking center stage. This year’s activities will last from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Join the festivities by registering your bonnet at the Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 695 Elmwood Avenue, between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. At 1:00 p.m., the Easter Bunny will lead the parade down Elmwood Avenue giving you a chance to show off your headgear.  The parade will pause at Lafayette Presbyterian Church, located at 875 Elmwood Avenue, for an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt.  Following the Easter Egg Hunt, the parade will continue to St. John’s-Grace Church, located at 51 Colonial Circle, for light refreshments and bonnet-judging.

The Elmwood Village Association is excited to announce that this is a dog-friendly event. Participants are encouraged to adorn their beloved pooches with a bonnet and bring them out to parade down Elmwood Avenue!
