As we all are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, none of us know when our lives will get back to “normal” or what that new normal means. Beloved Elmwood Village businesses are struggling, and the futures of mainstay Elmwood Village Association events are uncertain. In these trying times there is still one constant: community. We will get through this, together.
Now more than ever, the EVA is dedicated to bringing people together in new and uplifting ways and providing support to the small businesses that have brought so much color to our neighborhood for so many years. Simply put, we need your help to both survive and make an impact.
We are still committed to the planned beautification efforts, the Farmers Market, Porchfest and the Bidwell Summer Concert Series, in whatever capacity we can bring these to you. At the same time, we are not in control of the current pause of gatherings and future regulations of public assembly, making planning and fundraising drastically more difficult.
A tax deductible donation from you will help ensure that the EVA can continue and expand its efforts during the pause and especially after, when traditional gatherings are allowed. We know that times are tough for everyone and this is not the ideal time for an appeal. Please know that your dollar has never been more important to the EVA and the small business community. Since its incorporation as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1994, the Elmwood Village Association has invested considerable time, money and sweat equity to serve, beautify and bring together the Elmwood Village and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon but we need your help.
You can donate through PayPal or through Donorbox. You do NOT have to include your personal information if you don’t want to.
